Pickup Roller

The pickup roller is the core component of the paper feeding system for copiers and laser printers. Its main function is to separate paper sheets from the paper tray and feed paper smoothly and accurately to the imaging and fusing sections. It directly determines the smoothness of paper feeding and is a key accessory to prevent paper jams, multi-feeds and skewed paper.

Structure & Materials: 

Made of highly elastic and wear-resistant rubber or polyurethane with a high-strength metal core shaft inside. The surface is treated with special grain patterns to deliver excellent friction and anti-static performance. Compatible with paper of various weights and materials, it resists abrasion, hardening and slipping during long-term operation.

Core Function: 

The friction force, surface flatness and elasticity of the pickup roller directly govern feeding stability. It reliably separates single sheets to eliminate multi-feed, jam and skew issues, ensures consistent paper transport and maintains continuous, stable printing/copying while greatly reducing paper feed malfunctions.
