Drum Unit

Also called drum assembly, it is the integrated core component of the imaging system for copiers and laser printers. It integrates key parts including OPC drum, primary charging roller, developing roller, wiper blade and toner hopper, and completes the full imaging workflow: electrostatic charging, laser exposure, development, transfer and cleaning. It is the decisive component for print quality.

Structure & Classification: 

Two types are available: integrated drum unit (toner hopper combined with OPC drum) and separate drum unit (drum and toner cartridge separated). The integrated version allows easy replacement with zero maintenance; the separate version supports independent toner cartridge replacement to cut running costs.
